Terms of Service
Jurisdiction: Victoria, Australia
1. Electronics Repair
Data Loss: The business is not liable for data loss on any device submitted for repair. Clients must back up all data prior to submission.
Assessment Fee: A non-refundable diagnostic fee may apply, which will be credited toward the final repair cost.
2. CAD & 3D Printing
File Integrity: The client is responsible for the structural viability of provided CAD designs unless a design review is paid for.
Material Limits: 3D-printed parts are provided as-is. Suitability for high-stress or safety-critical applications is the responsibility of the client.
Intellectual Property and Public Release: For designs designed and printed by the business, the design is considered open to the public by default. No party retains exclusive ownership of the design unless the client explicitly requests a private or exclusive ownership arrangement.
Ownership Requests: Requests for exclusive ownership or intellectual property transfers must be discussed and agreed upon on a case-by-case basis prior to the commencement of the job.
Iterative Design: To ensure a functional solution, the business allows for several iterations of a printed item at no additional cost.
3. Abandoned Goods
In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (VIC), items left for repair and not collected within 90 days of completion notification may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
4. Payments, Refunds, and Shipping
Currency: All prices are in AU dollars.
Refunds: While refunds are not provided for "change of mind" on custom commissions, returns or refunds may be accepted on a case-by-case basis if quality is deemed below standard.
Shipping Estimates: Upon submission of a job request, shipping costs will be estimated. The customer will be notified of these costs for approval before the item is shipped.
Shared Costs: In the event that shipping is required for returns or iterations, the cost will be shared by both parties.
Statutory Guarantees: These terms do not exclude or limit statutory guarantees applicable under the Australian Consumer Law.
